Judge Richard Goldstone on the Gaza War

From October 23, 2009, Bill Moyers talks with Judge Richard Goldstone, who headed up the controversial UN Human Rights Council investigation into the fighting in Gaza between Israel and Hamas. The Gaza War started December 2008 and ended January 18, 2009 just two days before President George W. Bush was to leave office. 13 Israelis and about 1400 Gazans were kill. 518 Israelis and 5303 Gazans were wounded.

Prior to the U.S. invasion of Iraq in March 2003, Scott Ritter publicly argued that Iraq possessed no significant weapons of mass destruction (WMDs). Is the war in Afghanistan worth the sacrifice of even one American life? Former U.N. weapons inspector Scott Ritter says, "No! ... We are allowing the battle in Afghanistan to be defined by a domestic American political imperative. There is no urgency in Afghanistan, there is urgency in Washington, D.C."
